ALTAR FLOWERS- The flowers on the altar this morning are given by the Carney family in celebration of a new baby girl! We received the news after bulletin printing, so here are the details: Mariella Vella Carney was born July 10, 2019 at 5:20 pm.

She is 6 lbs 7 oz., 18 inches long and proud parents are Branden & Kat Carney!

FAMILY CAMP – Join us at Trinity Lutheran Church for "Who Is My Neighbor?", VBS 2019, July 15-July 18, 2019 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Please call Trinity at 269-963-5356 to register.

NEXT WEEK'S WORSHIP - St. Peter and Trinity congregations will worship together on Sunday, July 21 at 10:30 am as we wrap up this year's Family Camp, "Who Is My Neighbor?".

ST. THOMAS EPISCOPAL BREAKFAST MINISTRY: For the last several years St. Peter in conjunction with Trinity Lutheran have worked at the St. Thomas summer breakfast for one week. This year our week is July 22 - 26, 2019. There is a poster/signup on the bulletin board in the narthex. We'd welcome your participation in this ministry opportunity. If you have any questions please contact Linn Kracht.

KIDS CLASSROOM KITS - The school supplies' sales have begun and all St. Peter members have an opportunity to support our students and teachers by collecting the following items between now and August 4: glue sticks, Clorox wipes, pencils, Band-Aids, Crayola crayons-package of 24, tissues, erasers, and pencil sharpeners. If you choose to participate, please bring the above items to church and put in the appropriate baskets. The Outreach Committee will evenly divide the donations between 4 elementary schools in our 4 area school districts. This is another way we at St. Peter can show that we care and share with the community. If there are any questions, contact an Outreach Committee member. Thank you!!

TWO LONELY COATS have been hanging on the racks in the back hallway for a month or two; one is a three quarter length Michael Kors, dark olive, size M. The second is a winter jacket, dark red, size XXL. Please check to see if either of these coats belong to someone in your family.

VETERANS HELPING VETERANS (VHV) - This local 501(c) (3) organization, was established to assist veterans seeking to set up an apartment or a home. If you have furniture or household items to donate, VHV is another option; call 269-420-7638. They periodically need volunteers to help move furniture to the designated apartment or home. Perhaps a team from St. Peter could help a few times each year? Financial donations are always welcome. Contact Linn Kracht if interested. Motto: This is a hand up, not a handout.

HELP NEEDED FOR SUMMER COFFEE HOUR -  We are looking for volunteers to sign up for Summer Hospitality most Sundays in September. If you haven't served for a while, or have never done one, PLEASE SIGN UP. Training is available!! Please contact Debbie Duggan with any questions. THANK YOU!
