ANNUAL MEETING — The 2020 Annual Congregational Meeting will be held on Sunday, February 9, 2020 immediately following worship. Please make plans to attend so that we can establish a quorum. If you have any questions, please contact Barb Marquette.

A WORD OF THANKS — Thanks to the amazing people of St. Peter, there was a happy, joy filled, if teary, "Prayer Flash Mob" in the church office on my last day as your secretary. We spent 18 years together and I am grateful to each and every one of you. Thank you for the good wishes, the cards and gifts, they are so appreciated. Wishing all good things for the future. Cathy Jakubiak

RECONCILING IN CHRIST (RIC) TEAM UPDATE – This team is hosting an informal small group meeting for questions and conversation today, Sunday, Jan 19 during the Sunday school hour. Everyone is invited to attend. If you have any questions or comments, please don't hesitate to see one of our RIC Core Team (Nancy Wozniak, Dave Marquette, Barb Egland, Barb Remaley or Ken Tsuchiyama). Everyone's input is vital to this conversation.

ST THOMAS EPISCOPAL SATURDAY BREAKFAST — St. Peter and Trinity members are scheduled to help prepare and serve the Saturday breakfast at St. Thomas Episcopal on Sat. Feb. 1, 2020. If you are available that day, the help would be welcomed. There is a signup sheet on the Outreach section of the bulletin board in the narthex and it list the time people are needed. If you have questions please contact Linn Kracht. Thanks for considering assisting in this ministry.

LUTHERAN STUDY BIBLE ORDER — There is an interest in placing another order for Lutheran Study Bibles from Augsburg Fortress. The cost is approximately $20 per bible if we order 10 or more. Please contact Barb Marquette if you would like to be added to the order list.

SOUPER-BOWL OF CARING — Let's all join in the nation-wide Souper Bowl Day of Caring on Super Bowl Sunday, February 2! Last year we collected 100 cans of soup for donation to the Pete's Pantry and our local Food Pantry. How about a goal of 120 cans for 2020?!! The narthex is our donation location.

SUPER SUBS SALE — Another Super Bowl event: The Sub Sandwich Fundraiser! You can again order submarine sandwiches from our St. Peter Youth Group. The form is available in your bulletin and in the narthex. Please recycle the form if you are not using one. Order as many as you like at $6.00 per 8 inch sub. Remember how yummy they were last year? Our condiments and veggies are wrapped to keep away any sogginess! We got you covered for Super Bowl enjoyment!

RIVERSIDE STUDENT READING HELP - The Outreach Committee is offering St. Peter members the opportunity to 'buddy' up with students at Riverside Elementary to help improve their reading skills. The contact with a student would probably be only once per week for 30 mins. and generally the same student each time. If you have any interest at all please contact Linn Kracht. Additional details will be shared if express an interest. Reading is so important!!!

ASSISTING MINISTER TRAINING I - All assisting ministers (as well as those interested in becoming an assisting minister) are encouraged to attend this training.
