“GOD’S WORK, OUR HANDS”

Volunteering in celebration of the 25th Anniversary of our ELCA.

   In celebration of our Evangelical Lutheran Church in America’s 25th anniversary we are promoting volunteering on a great project for our community. The Calhoun Christian School (20 Woodrow Ave S.) is constructing a massive new playground for the school and community to use and enjoy. We want to get as many volunteers there to participate on Saturday, September 14th. Come anytime from 8am-5pm ready to sweat and get your hands involved. Snacks and baked goods are needed as well so those that cannot participate in lifting can help in providing food. You can also volunteer on Thursday the 12th and Friday the 13th from 8am-5pm. Thursday and Friday are also still in need of team captains that know their way around construction and woodworking.
