For one special month only in this our 50th anniversary year we will worship each Sunday at 10:30am. Mark your calendars for September 2, 9, 16, 23, 30—all for 10:30am! There will be some special events on these Sundays. Sunday the 2nd we will celebrate Labor Day. Sunday the 9th we will have our Rally Day services after our Saturday Fun Fair on the 8th in our Parking Lot full of games and activities for all ages. Sunday the 16th former St. Pete’s pastor, Erik Johnson, will return to celebrate the service with us followed by a community bike ride. Sunday the 23rd we will have a combined service at St. Peter Lutheran Church with Trinity Lutheran Church, our parent church. The 23rd is also the CROP Walk (or Rock) that we will participate in together. Sunday the 30th we will have a combined service at Trinity Lutheran Church (yes, you will have to drive to Trinity to worship that Sunday!). This combined service idea came from council (not the synod) after reflecting on how to honor our parent church history from Trinity and our connections in the community in this our 50th Anniversary Year. So get ready, September is going to be a little different, but amazing. Think 10:30 worship all September long (Education at 9:30). Then we will resume our two service schedule Sunday October 7 with our Traditional Service at 8:30 and Contemporary at 11am with education hour in between from 9:45-10:45. Sunday, 30 September 2012, 10:30am
