Here are the new details for this year’s summer trip. We have the opportunity to go with Rainbow Trail Lutheran Camp in Colorado with their Bridging Borders program to New York City! I believe as Christians we are called to help out our neighbors who are suffering. I helped rebuild homes after Hurricane Katrina and it was a life changing experience. I believe it will be a wonderful opportunity to again help those who suffered great loss. I received more information from the camp about the trip. A minimum and maximum of 12 people can go. The cost is $425 per person plus airfare, or fees for renting a van. The fee includes building materials, your transportation to, from and within New York, meals, Rainbow Trail staff, and insurance. This cost is very doable to me. If through fundraising we pay just the $425 we only need to raise about $1500. The dates for the trip will be June 23-29th. Please, please, please talk this over with your families to see if you can go. It is crucial that we have the names of who are going and a deposit of $100 by Feb. 10th! The camp would like to have those numbers and deposits by the 15th of Feb.
